Ford Capri Mk3 Laser 1986

Here is our 1986 Ford Capri Laser.

This was a surprise addition to our fleet, she was advertised on a Facebook forum and what with being only seven miles from our home it was rude not to look. The car had been in the chaps garden for almost nine years. After a close examination I bought it there and then only to find out I would now be it's second owner with the seller having all the original paperwork, service books and the bill of sale from new. What a result. The car is so solid on the underbody and mainly needed a good engine overhaul including a ne camshaft etc and water pump with new pipes also fitted. The brakes also had a complete overhaul with new calipers fitted aswell.

The body work needed a real good tidy up as she had a dented front wing and tatty valance so replacments were fitted then into the paint booth to bring her back. We then fitted some new original decals to her now gleaming paintwork to finish her off.

She was then off to her first MOT in many years and she did not let me down. The determination of the examiner could not find a single fault.

Now she turns heads around town as I use this car as my daily runner.
